BARS meetings resume on Wednesday September 3rd at 7 PM.
Our speaker will be Tom K1TW who will cover the very interesting history of one of the world’s most famous amateur radio stations, namely, 4U1ITU in Geneva Switzerland. 4U1ITU, which is located within the Headquarters of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), counts as a separate DXCC entity and is frequently put on the air. The International Amateur Radio Club (IARC) and its station 4U1ITU celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2012.
